Childhood illnesses

The winter months are here and the illnesses have started in our house thats for sure.My little boy was always ill when he was younger but now he has turned 5 and been in school for the last year he doesnt seem to get ill as much as his immune system is stronger. My little girl is 20 months and last week a cold started and has now turned into bronchiolitis. We took her the hospital and they have given antibiotics and put her on a nebulizer. Would love to hear some home remedies for the winter months and do you agree with antibiotics and doctors all the time?

Hey, we use something called Elderberry Syrup, I give it once a day my kids love it. Also a good probiotic might help, especially if shes had antibiotics it will help put the goodness back into her gut as the antibiotics will have gotten rid of the good bacteria!

Thanks for the advice I will look into the Elderberry syrup. My little girl loves her food so i try get down lots of natural probiotic foods. My little boy gets poorly so easily my little girl is a lot stronger and rarely ill I think its down to the foods she eats as my little boy is so fussy he doesnt eat the foods he needs.
